Biography

Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?

I was lucky to have experienced the incredible community here first hand as a med student. In every rotation at WIH, everyone immediately welcomed me into the team and was excited to teach me everything they knew. Going into interview season, I knew I wanted to be surrounded by a family that would support me in all my endeavors and push me to be better. In the end, I knew I belonged at Brown because I could see myself thriving in all my identities: as a physician, a teammate, a learner, a dog mom, a family member, and so much more!

What are your interests within OB/GYN?

I'm interested in so many different aspects of OBGYN. I'm not sure how they'll fit into my future career but I've particularly enjoyed my experiences with adolescent care, medical education, and MFM!

What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?

Spending a sunny day down in Newport, taking a stroll on the cliff walk and visiting Newport Vineyards

Where do you live?

East Providence

One fun fact about you:

I taught Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky how to solve the Rubix cube during a travel meet when we were 12! I've since forgotten how to solve a Rubix cube myself...

One piece of advice for candidates:

Think about what aspects of a residency are most important to you (i.e. breadth of training, location, patient population, etc.) and see how each program aligns with your values. Ultimately, trust your gut and try to envision where you think you'll feel the most supported and the happiest!
