Resources for Prospective Residents

Only electronic applications received from the ResidencyCAS website are accepted.

Our residency program is committed to full compliance with the recommended standards set forth by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) for the upcoming application and interview season. Application Process

Only electronic applications received from the ResidencyCAS website are accepted. Interviews are by invitation only. Deadline for application is September 25. 2024. Our program is participating in signaling this season. A link to all related guidelines and frequently asked questions can be found here.

The following will be needed in order for your file to be complete:

  • A ResidencyCAS Common Application Form
  • Completed National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) application with NRMP number
  • A copy of Step 1 (passing grade required), and when available, Step 2 USMLE scores
  • Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certificate (international medical graduates only)
  • A copy of medical school transcript
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation
  • A minimum of three letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement
  • A head and shoulders photograph if not included in ResidencyCAS Application

It is your responsibility to follow-up to ensure your file is complete. ResidencyCAS should verify that your application has been received and when it is complete

Interview Dates

Our program selects approximately 80 candidates to interview. We utilize multiple factors in our selection process modeled after the AAMC Holistic Review.

AAMC Holistic Review

This model represents an inclusive approach to application review accounting for non-traditional and traditional metrics for consideration.

In accordance with APGO and CREOG recommendations, interview offers will be released on:

  • October 29, 2024

Applicants are required to respond within 3 days. 

Our interviews this year will be entirely virtual. Interview dates are listed below. Additionally, we look forward to inviting applicants interviewing to participate in our virtual Grand Rounds. Details will follow invitation to interview.
