Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology
The faculty members in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology are passionate about resident education and professional growth. We work alongside you on labor and delivery as you master labor management, help you learn how to do hysterectomies in the OR, guide you through the bedside ultrasound diagnosing an ectopic for the first time in the middle of the night, and help you place your first IUD in clinic! We teach in weekly didactic sessions, run simulations, as well as lecture locally and nationally in areas of our specific clinical expertise. You can also join us at the state house to learn how to advocate for improving access to care for our patients. We have many division members actively involved in research and are always eager to help you create your research question and support you through the steps of project completion. Any time of day or night, you can always find a few of us in the building helping you learn to take the best care of your patients and their families.

Breast Health Center
The Breast Health Center is multidisciplinary center staffed by comprehensive team with members from breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, genetic counseling, social services and nursing. Residents participate at the center in a 3-4 week rotation highlighting all disciplines integral to breast cancer care. At the core of our practice is our weekly multidisciplinary tumor board, where every patient is presented before the first treatment, as well as after. Additionally we have a weekly genetic case conference, for cancer risk assessment evaluation, a weekly breast oncology didactic program and monthly journal club where residents are encouraged to participate. Our breast imaging center is based at the main hospital, though integral to patient assessment. We perform 3D tomosynthesis, whole breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, with imaged guided biopsy primarily in our imaging suite. We are also one of only a handful of Society of Surgical Oncology credentialed fellowships housed in an Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. Our two fellows have their prior training in either general surgery or obstetrics and gynecology.

Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine
The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine is a team of 12 faculty members and 5 fellows. We are educators, clinicians, and researchers with NIH and foundation funding. Many of us serve on national boards and have leadership role in the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. Locally, we serve both as consultants and as primary obstetric providers for women with a wide range of chronic medical conditions, obstetric complications, and fetal abnormalities. We not only provide the full range of prenatal diagnosis and pregnancy monitoring services, but are also dedicated to taking care of vulnerable high risk women in the hospital- truly keeping the "M" in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Our goal is not only to provide the most up to date, evidence-based medical, obstetrical, and surgical care, but also to train medical students, residents and fellows and to conduct the highest quality research in our specialty.

Division of Midwifery
The Midwifery Division is nationally known for innovation in inter-professional education, clinical excellence, and quality improvement. The midwives’ team-based approach facilitates patient-centered care while supporting resident and medical student education in the emergency department, on labor and delivery, and on the antepartum, and mother/baby postpartum units. In addition to patient care and clinical education, they provide ongoing interdisciplinary curriculum development and support via mentoring, lectures, workshops, simulations, and original, interactive game-based experiences. Their core values include collaboration, innovation, compassion, and scholarship.

Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
The division of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is deeply committed to the education of fellows, residents, and students. Our fellows have gone on to become outstanding clinicians and leaders in the field. We also take great pride in ensuring that all residents graduate with a solid fund of REI knowledge and practical skills that are necessary for a successful career in general obstetrics and gynecology. Finally, we provide career and research mentorship to residents and students who are considering a career in REI. Our faculty have successfully mentored several residents and students who have ultimately gone on to REI fellowship.
