The core curriculum for our residency is in a two-year rotating schedule of interactive, CREOG objective based didactics. We utilize a flipped classroom style, engaging our residents to read in advance of lecture to better engage with the content. In addition to traditional CREOG objective based content, our protected didactic time also focuses on:
- Reproductive Justice and Advocacy
- Ethics
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Wellness
- Quality Improvement
- Research curriculum/Journal club
In addition, simulation plays a big role in our curriculum with dedicated simulation days throughout the year. Simulation is utilized for procedural skills, but also for Residents as Teachers, Empathy training, Transgender health, and Palliative care.
