Biography

Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?

I was first interested in this program due to its dedication to providing exceptional care for its patient population, focus on patient advocacy and outstanding residency training. On interview day, everyone I met was so kind and genuine and I felt completely at ease throughout the whole day. After my interview, I knew this was the perfect program for me!

What are your interests within OB/GYN?

Gyn Onc, REI, patient advocacy, community health and medical education/mentorship.

What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?

My favorite two things to do here as a native Rhode Islander is go to the beach (of note it is exactly 35 minutes from my house) and spend time with my family!

Where do you live?

East side/Wayland

One fun fact about you:

I was a Studio Art major in college and my paintings have been displayed in various different galleries in the US including in Rhode Island, North Carolina and New York City.

One piece of advice for candidates:

Find a residency program where you feel that you are inspired by the residents, attendings, staff etc. You want to be in a place where you feel supported to pursue your passions in the field and learn as much as you can during your training!
