Biography
Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?
During my interview day, I felt welcomed by everyone I met. The residents, faculty and staff were excited to get to know me and I enjoyed getting to know everyone. Everyone here has a strong passion for gender and sexual health equity and are excellent advocates for their patients. I felt like the program’s values aligned with my own and realized it would be a good fit for me. I also did my MPH at Brown and knew that I would love living in Providence.
What are your interests within OB/GYN?
My interests are broad right now and include obstetrics, reproductive justice primary-care and family planning. I’m excited to explore each subspecialty and find out what I’m best suited for.
What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?
Laying out on the beautiful beaches and going for a jog at India Point Park .

One fun fact about you:
I have a pair of cargo pants from 6th grade that still fit me.
One piece of advice for candidates:
Stay true to who you are and reflect on the things that brought you to this point. People are interested in getting to know you. Be proud of yourself and all of your accomplishments as well as what you learned from your setbacks. They have made you who you are today!
