Biography

Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?

I was lucky to have experienced the uniquely excellent culture here as a medical student and felt that WIH/Brown would best empower me to thrive as a learner, teammate, educator, and physician! Our program fosters a healthy academic learning environment with an emphasis on wellness, while simultaneously providing excellent training.

What are your interests within OB/GYN?

I am interested in MFM, GYN ONC, and academic general Ob/Gyn. I have conducted research about improving informed consent for prenatal genetic testing with a focus on language disparities and genetic privacy.

What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?

Kayaking or sailing in Narragansett Bay, visiting the Providence Botanical Garden, or getting dinner at one of Rhode Island’s many amazing restaurants.

Where do you live?

Pawtuxet Village, an adorable neighborhood on the Cranston/Providence/Warwick boarder that is walking distance from Narragansett Bay only a 5 minute drive from Women and Infants!

One fun fact about you:

I have an 8 foot tall fiddle leaf fig tree in my living room!

One piece of advice for candidates:

Pick one or two key aspects of a residency program that are most important to you, use those as your guiding light in the application and ranking process.
