Biography

Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?

I chose WIH/Brown because of the people. I realized I laughed a lot during my interactions with the residents. Everyone I talked to was very warm and kind. The camaraderie was very palpable through zoom and I instantly knew I would be very supported. I am happy to report that my gut instincts were right! I also loved that WIH is its own stand alone women's hospital with an emergency room that is managed by OBGYNs. I am very interested in global health, and I loved that there are opportunities to be involved in global health at Brown/WIH through the BRIGHT program.

What are your interests within OB/GYN?

I am currently very interested in MFM! I am also very passionate about global health and medical education.

What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?

I love anything involving being close to water, like picnics at India Point Park, hanging out at a beach with my co-interns, or walking by the providence river.

Where do you live?

Federal Hill

One fun fact about you:

My fun fact is that I have never misplaced a pair of socks. My mom was always very appreciative of this.

One piece of advice for candidates:

You are interviewing programs just as much as they are interviewing you, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Be yourself and trust your gut instincts. You have worked so hard to get to where you are and you should be very proud!
