Biography
Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?
I chose WIH because of the incredible culture I experienced during my time as a medical student at Brown! I knew I wanted to train alongside the dedicated, compassionate, and supportive residents who make this program so special. I also valued the opportunity to learn from outstanding midwives and engage in patient advocacy through work at the RI State House. Lastly, having family and friends nearby in MA made Brown the perfect place for me to continue my training!
What is your favorite thing to do in Providence and/or Rhode Island?
Going for runs on the East Bay Bike Path, reading a book in India Point Park, and eating at the many yummy restaurants in Providence
Where do you live?
Federal Hill - a super walkable area close to many fun restaurants!
Fun fact:
I have 4 younger sisters!
One piece of advice for candidates:
Write a note or record a voice memo after each interview so you can look back and see how you felt about each program! The process is long and can be overwhelming at times, so trust yourself, be proud of what you've accomplished, and surround yourself with people that can remind you how amazing you are!
