Erin Barlow, MD
Biography
Dr. Barlow is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is a member of the division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women & Infants Hospital. Dr. Barlow completed medical school at the University of Massachusetts, where she stayed to complete her residency training. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. She then returned to UMass and joined the generalist division as the Director of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Services. She served in this role for thirteen years and developed the first comprehensive program in PAG, serving all of central Massachusetts. During her time at UMass she was heavily involved in graduate and undergraduate medical education, and served as a Learning Communities Mentor at the medical school for over ten years. Dr. Barlow joined the faculty at Women & Infants Hospital in 2023 as the Director of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She became Residency Program Director in November of 2025. Nationally, she is the co-chair of the NASPAG resident education committee.
